The man was shot dead by BSF on August 14Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over the body of a Bangladeshi to BGB 15 days after he was shot to death at Majdiar area under India's Jalangi police station, along Kushtia border. The body of the deceased Abul Kashem, 35, was handed over in a flag meeting between members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and members of BSF at No Man's Land along Kushtia's Challishapara border around 5pm on Friday. Subedar Delwar Hossain, of BGB battalion 47, led the flag meeting from BGB while the BSF members were led by AC Bolram Singh of BSF battalion 141. The body was later received by the victim's younger brother Mithu. On August 14, Abul Kashem was shot dead by BSF, after he had crossed over to the Indian side through the Challishapara border in Ramkrishnapur union of Kushtia's Daulatpur upazila.
