more-inTo promote the use of alternative sources of energy, power discom BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) and The Energy and Resources Limited (TERI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) last week to explore possibilities of capacity building programmes and researches for solar rooftop initiatives. Push for solar energyOfficials said that the studies, which will be carried out under the partnership, will solve technical issues related to loading of feeders, static and dynamic voltage regulation, power quality and protection that may arise with higher penetration of solar rooftop systems in distribution grids. The MoU was signed by CEO of BRPL Amal Sinha, and senior fellow and director (Electricity and Fuels Division) of TERI A. K. Saxena.
