Umar, whose freedom was announced Tuesday morning, is also the father-in-law to President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide de camp (ADC). Umar, Magajin Garin Daura, who was kidnapped on May 1, 2019, was rescued by the security operatives Tuesday morning, in Kano.
