BREAKING NEWS: FOLLOWING USAID ‘MISSING’ BILLION REPORT RELEASE, CENTRAL BANK OF LIBERIA ‘UNDER SIEGE’, AS POLICE BEGINS PICKING UP PEOPLE

Police officers can be seen surrounding the Central Bank of Liberia in MonroviaMonrovia – The FrontPageAfrica has been reliably told that the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) is now “under siege” and it’s being heavily manned by officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP). “No one is leaving at the moment,” a cogent source told this newspaper few minutes ago. This comes following the release of United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) report into the alleged missing L$16 billion. The USAID report points to a number of missteps from the CBL leading to the printing of excess of Liberian dollars. They are presently at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police on Capitol Hill, Monrovia.
