Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has tested positive for COVID-19. According to the Eagle Online, the Abia State Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, confirmed the development in a statement. The result of Governor Ikpeazu’s test returned negative. “On Thursday, 4th June, 2020, the Governor submitted another sample at the Nigeria Center For Disease Control (NCDC) laboratory for confirmation and the result returned positive. It brought into memory the exact picture of a musical icon who the country lost to the icy pincers of death.
