Newsone reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, has postponed its presidential primary election to Monday, June 6th, and Tuesday, June 7th, 2022. This online news platform understands that the decision by the APC to postpone its Presidential Primary Election comes a few hours before the original date of the exercise, which was earlier slated for Sunday, May 29, 2022. In a statement on Friday, INEC extended the dates for primaries by six days after meeting with the leadership of the 18 registered political parties. Responding, INEC said it has given political parties 6 extra days to conduct its primaries.
