Corporate Communications Director for BOST Malik Adjei who spoke on Joynews stated that 4.5 million litres out of the total contaminated fuel have been processed into petrol and diesel awaiting to be released on the market. According to him, although a substantial portion of the commodity has been refined about 471,000 litres were sold to Zup Oil and some 862, 000 litres to Movenpina. “It is not true that 5 million litres which got contaminated at BOST have been sold, 4.5 million litres out of the 5 million litres has been sent to TOR [Tema Oil Refinery] for reprocessing. He further indicated that the BOST gate scandal allegations were untrue since investigations were subsequently carried out to ensure that the sector was sanitized.
