PETALING JAYA: The Barisan Nasional Strategic Communications (BNSC) team has slammed the assumption of a DAP critic who alleged that Barisan Nasional wanted to sabotage the Penang tunnel project. In a recalling an encounter at the Penang Tunnel scandal forum held on Friday (March 30), BNSC deputy director Datuk Eric See-To (pic) recounted the person "parroting the line of DAP". "He said that Barisan does not understand how congested the first Penang Bridge was and how many people suffer from this traffic jam every day during rush hours," said See-To. His query was based on the premise that the Penang bridge congestion has been bad for many years. However, See-To said Barisan "has a workable plan" on how to solve the traffic congestion problem on the Penang Bridge, and in Penang, rapidly.
