BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir pledged this while reading out the party’s manifesto for the upcoming general election, at a hotel in Dhaka, on Tuesday. World class universities will be built and study loans with low interest rates will be provided for children of low-income families. A special fund will be formed to facilitate meritorious students in attaining top degrees from abroad. Seats will be reserved for poor meritorious students in public and private academic institutions.
