BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Friday said a biography of their chairperson Khaleda Zia, now in jail, is being written. “A biography on her (Khaleda Zia) is being written. The Nationalist Research Centre arranged the program to mark the 34th anniversary of Khaleda Zia becoming the leader of BNP. On February 8 last year, the BNP chairperson was sentenced to five years in jail by a lower court. He also reiterated demands that the government immediately release the BNP chairperson from jail.
