A Dhaka court has sent BNP leaders Amanullah Aman and Nazimuddin Alam to jail in a case filed over last week’s alleged snatching of two party activists from a prison van of the police. The court also ordered the authorities concerned to take measures as per the jail code for the incarceration of Aman and Nazimuddin as they are sick. Earlier in the afternoon, Ramna police Inspector Saiful Islam had produced the BNP leaders before the court and sought their imprisonment in the case. Earlier that day, police had also arrested BNP Training Affairs Secretary ABM Mosharraf Hossain from Uttara.
