Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has permitted BNP to hold a rally at Suhrawardy Udyan on Monday on some conditions. Leaders and activists of BNP have started gathering at the venue to attend the rally that would begin at 3:00 pm. The works to prepare a stage for the rally started at 11:00 am. BNP’s Dhaka Metropolitan South Unit Convener Abdus Salam will preside over the gathering. But in an amended notice at night, it announced Suhrawardy Udyan for the event and confirmed the venue after speaking to Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
