BNP has changed the venue for an executive committee meeting scheduled for February 3 from the Rajdarshan hall at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) to Le Méridien Dhaka as it was denied permission for the former. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi disclosed the information at a press conference held on Thursday at the party’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka. The usual places for the meeting denied permission as well. We were forced to book Le Méridien for the event.”“The party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir confirmed Le Méridien as the venue a few moments ago. BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will preside over the meeting,” he added.
