Speaking to the media at the party chief’s Gulshan offices, the senior BNP leader said that no one in the country believes the figures provided by the government on the Covid-19 situation. "You (govt) are not giving the nation the right information even during such a bad time as you don’t have a sense of responsibility. Fakhrul strongly opposed the government’s move to allow reopening shops and shopping palls ‘ignoring’ the people’s lives and security. You’re reopening shopping malls. It seems our economy has not gained the strength to cope with the current situation, but you completely deceived people with rhetoric about it," the BNP leader said.
