Photo : CollectedDHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Rakibul Islam of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has been unofficially elected from the Khulna-3 constituency in the 13th National Parliament election, securing 74,845 votes with the party’s ‘Sheaf of paddy’ symbol. According to the results, his closest contender, Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, received 66,100 votes. In addition to the votes secured by the candidates, a total of 1,17,013 ‘Yes’ votes and 44,558 ‘No’ votes were cast in the constituency. Election officials confirmed that the announcement was made following the completion of vote counting and verification procedures.
