more-inThe Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation will install CCTV cameras at various locations in the city so that it can crack down on illegal services of maxi cabs, vans and private buses. They hope once the cameras are installed there will be a more systematic approach to clamping down on private operators. There is a need to document illegal operations on daily basis and CCTV cameras are required. The BMTC will install and manage the CCTV cameras. The BMTC is ready to take on bigger private operators who provide services to companies in Electronics City.
