Briefcase 1 BMC said that there were 2017 potholes in the city. The Brihan Mumbai Corporation has missed another deadline to fill the potholes in the city, second time in a month. "Whatever BMC had promised to fill these potholes they have failed to deliver as they don't have mechanism for same. This year, the number of potholes complaints have increased from 3,491 to 3,638. Of the 3,638 potholes complaints, 963 were reported in the island city, 1,928 in the western suburbs and 747 in the eastern part.
