more-inThe Jana Raksha Yatra led by BJP State president Kummanam Rajasekharan will enter the district on October 11. The yatra will be received at Karukutty at 12 noon and by 2 p.m., a pada yatra will be taken out by party workers from Edappally to Rajendra Maidan. BJP spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi and Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries Babul Supriyo will address a public meeting at Rajendra Maidan in the evening. In the run-up to the yatra in the district, various minority morchas of the party will hold rallies. Announcing this here on Friday, party State secretary B. Gopalakrishnan claimed that the yatra had unsettled both the Left and the United Democratic fronts.
