The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday released a list of 32 candidates for the upcoming by-elections across several states scheduled to be held on October 21. The Election Commission had last week announced bypolls to 67 assembly seats, spread across 18 states, to be held on October 21. The list of BJP candidates was released after a meeting of Central Election Committee (CEC) of the party which approved the names for the upcoming bypolls. pic.twitter.com/f4VCsqBIxm — BJP (@BJP4India) September 29, 2019The states where assembly bypolls will be on October 21 held are Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Odisha and Puducherry (one seat each). Elections in Haryana and Maharashtra, along with assembly bypolls, are scheduled for October 21 and the results will be announced on 24th October.
