CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu BJP has not ruled out a tie-up with the AIADMK for the local body polls in the state. "We went to people telling them that Tamil Nadu can only develop if both the DMK and AIADMK go. This is definitely a change and we welcome it," Tamil Nadu BJP president Tamilisai Soundararajan told ET. The BJP has minimal presence in Tamil Nadu and had attempted to carve out a space for itself by taking on both the AIADMK and the DMK in the justconcluded assembly polls. Now as the local body polls are approaching, we still want to go alone and tell the people to identify the need for a change in the state.
