BJP holds candlelight march, pays homage to slain soldiers


The Delhi BJP paid homage to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) martyrs in the Pulwama incident, at India Gate on Saturday. BJP workers assembled at the Udyog Bhawan metro station to begin a candlelight march raising slogans against terrorism and Pakistan. BJP Delhi president Manoj Tiwari led the march in which MPs Meenakshi Lekhi, Maheish Girri and other senior leaders participated. Mr. Girri said that the time had come to give a “befitting reply to Pakistan and finish its terrorism”. Meanwhile, the Delhi Congress organised candlelight marches at all of its 280 blocks to pay homage to the CRPF martyrs.
