New Delhi: On Wednesday, the BJP appointed two-time councillor Sardar Raja Iqbal Singh as Leader of the BJP’s Municipal Corporation of Delhi Councillor Body. BJP stated in a press conference, “Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva has appointed Sardar Raja Iqbal Singh as leader of the BJP’s MCD councillor body.”Singh was previously the mayor of the NDMC. Singh was a Shiromni Akali Dal councillor from GTB Nagar and the corporation’s Civil Lines zone chairperson before joining the BJP in 2020. State President Shri @Virend_Sachdeva has appointed Sardar Raja Iqbal Singh as Leader of the BJP’s MCD Councillor Body. Shri Jai Bhagwan Yadav will be Deputy Leader.
