Kailash Vijayvargiya, who is also in-charge of West Bengal BJP, has said that the CAA rules will be framed in the next one month, after which the act will be ready for implementation in the [West Bengal] state. January-end is our target,” Vijayvargiya told The Economic Times. Also, at another public meeting in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district the BJP general secretary told the reporters, “Even if the West Bengal government opposes the implementation of CAA we (central government) will go ahead in implementing it. BJP President J P Nadda during his recent visit to West Bengal had said that rules for implementation of the Act are being framed. To a categorical question about the implementation of NRC, Vijayvargiya replied curtly "We are talking about implementation of CAA here."
