Disclosure: The author's law firm Heitner Legal served as legal counsel for Inner Circle Sports in conducting diligence for its investment in BITKRAFT. BITKRAFT, which officially launches today, describes itself as the first esports specific fund that is focused exclusively on incubating, building and investing in esports startups. Its main asset at launch is Dojo Madness, a Berlin-based startup that sells analytics and coaching tools to casual and professional esports enthusiasts. Thus far, BITKRAFT has raised 18 million Euro with a target close on its round of fundraising at 30 million Euro. The fund managers indicate that BITKRAFT will invest between 100,000 Euro and 400,000 Euro in each startup.
