Share TweetBy Jun RamirezBureau of Immigration (BI) intelligence agents have arrested an overstaying Kuwaiti national subject of complaints from residents in Guimaras island for arrogance and intimidation. In a report to Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente, BI chief intelligence chief Fortunato Manahan identified the Arab national as 59-year-old Ahmad Issac Alameri, who was apprehended in the Visayan island last June 6 by members of the bureau’s regional intelligence operations unit (RIOU). Manahan said Alameri, who overstayed in the country since July 2017, is also an undocumented alien holding an expired Kuwaiti passport. Upon learning of the Arab’s arrest, the BI chief immediately ordered the conduct of deportation proceedings against the alien.
