The BGB raided an area near pillar No. 3 at Lokkhidari border of the south-western district on Feb 5 when the cache was found, Satikhira-based BGB Commanding Officer Lt Col Mostafizur Rahman said at a press conference on Sunday. “There are 97 rings, 20 lockets, and 50 nose pins in the cache worth around Tk 7 million. “The jewellery was sent to Khulna for verification. Ornaments are made of real diamond,” he said quoting the test results.
