BGB- 25 Battalion distributes relief among poor families in Brahmanbaria on Friday Dhaka TribuneThe support package includes rice, flour, lentil, oil, semolina and saltThe Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has started distributing relief goods received from the Bidyanondo Foundation, among poor families in Brahmanbaria and Sylhet whose livelihoods have been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. In Brahmanbaria, the BGB- 25 battalion distributed relief goods to 200 families in Gosaisthol Bazar and Colonel Bazar of Kashba and Akhaura upazilas on Friday. Present for the distribution ceremony were, BGB- 25 Battalion Commander Ltd Colonel Md Mizanur Rahman, Kasba upazila Nirbahi Officer Masud Ul Alom, and Kasba police station Officer-in-Charge Lokman Hossain. Meanwhile, the BGB-19 battalion finished distributing relief goods to 1,000 poor families in Zakiganj upazila of Sylhet, yesterday. Their distribution programme began on May 6, according to a BGB- 19 battalion press release.
