Issues of detention, killing of unarmed Bangladeshi nationals by BSF, as well as drugs, arms and ammunition trafficking from India will be prioritized in the meetingA border conference between the director generals of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Security Force (BSF) will be held in New Delhi on Monday. The 14-member BGB delegation will be headed by its Director General (DG) Maj Gen Shafeenul Islam. On the other hand, a 20-member Indian delegation, led by BSF Director General Shri KK Sharma, will attend the conference. The two representatives are also expected to sign a Joint Record of Discussions (JRD) of the conference on September 7. The Bangladeshi delegation will return home on September 8 on completion of the conference.
