BFF reduces BPL venues to four

The Bangladesh Football Federation has reduced the number of venues to four from seven for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League which kicks off on July 24. A meeting of the professional football league committee was held at the BFF House yesterday where the decision was made to omit Barisal, Rajshahi and Gopalganj. After yesterday’s decision the BPL matches will now be held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Mymensingh. But it was learned that the BFF changed its decision after a few clubs requested to do so but the federation denied this. Two round matches from both legs will be held in Mymensingh while the rest will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet.
