(CNN) Viewers of Sunday night's BET Awards got so much more than just a celebration of black entertainment and Prince tributes. Erykah Badu, The Roots, Bilal, Stevie Wonder and Tori Kelly, Jennifer Hudson, Maxwell and Janelle Monáe performed some Prince hits. Debra Lee, chairman and chief executive officer of BET, was just one of many who urged the audience to vote.
