Shoufani is a teacher who spoke in favour of Palestinian rights at a rally in 2016. And, as sure as day follows night, these calls for Palestinian rights were followed by slander. Levy’s formula is predictable: she paints her subject unsympathetically, in these cases, supporters of Palestinian rights. I am proud to be part of the BDS movement, a campaign that is anti-racist at its core. BDS has many victories to its credit and I am confident that it only just started to gain momentum.
