DHAKA, Feb 22, 2026 (BSS)-The one-day version of the Bangladesh CricketLeague (BCL) rolls onto the ground tomorrow (Monday) at different venuesacross the country. The tournament will be played in a one-day format to help players prepare forthe upcoming ODI series against Pakistan, which will visit Bangladesh inMarch for a three-match series. As usual, four teams-- East Zone, North Zone, South Zone and Central Zone--will compete in the tournament. On the opening day, East Zone will take on North Zone at Shaheed ChanduStadium in Bogra while Central Zone will face off South Zone at RajshahiDivisional Stadium. Najmul Hossain Shanto will lead North Zone, Mehidy Hasan Miraz will captainSouth Zone, while Yasir Ali Chowdhury and Mahidul Islam Ankon will serve ascaptains of East Zone and Central Zone respectively.
