BCCI apex council meeting: IPL 2020 likely to happen abroad but conditions apply

All the 11 points of the agenda were discussed in the meeting but no conclusive decision was taken because of the current coronavirus pandemic situation. All members of the Apex Council attended the meeting, including the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah. BCCI are also looking at a shortened window of 5 to 6 weeks for IPL 2020 between September and early November, provided the T20 World Cup is postponed. "Ahmedabad can be someplace where we can hold training camp for players as we can create bio-bubble there," the Apex Council member who attended Friday's meeting told ANI. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 edition of the IPL has been indefinitely postponed.
