The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is all set to produce a feature-length documentary on the rise and fall of now-disgraced Hollywood mogul, Harvey Weinstein. In October, the head of The Weinstein Company started an unprecedented conversation in showbusiness that’s led to several people in power being called out and removed from their positions over sexual misconduct. Currently, the police in London, New York, and Los Angeles are conducting investigations into accusations against Weinstein. The 90-minute documentary, currently titled “Weinstein,” will debut on BBC Two. Simon and Jonathan Chinn’s Lightbox are reportedly making it while Ursula MacFarlane, whose credits include “Charlie Hebdo: Three Days That Shook Paris” and “Netflix’s “Captive,” will direct.
