BBC award winner avoids jail after stealing images of women and uploading them to porn sites

Alexander Woolf, 26, from Cambridge, downloaded images of 15 women and uploaded them to Reddit threads with sexually explicit and derogatory comments, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said. He was handed a 20-week sentence suspended for two years, the CPS said, and ordered to undertake a 40-day rehabilitation programme. All 15 victims said Woolf's actions had caused them significant distress and suffering, according to the CPS. Alongside his suspended sentence, the composer, who won the prestigious BBC competition in 2012, was ordered to do 40 sessions with a sex offender programme and 150 hours of unpaid work. Woolf was ordered to pay each of his 15 victims £100 in compensation, as well as £85 in court costs and a £128 victim surcharge.
