A man from northeastern, B.C., is facing a number of charges after RCMP officers found a caged black bear cub during a criminal investigation last week. While on the property, officers saw the six- to eight-month-old cub inside a green cage. RCMP later went back to fully search the property and remove the bear. The bear cub was taken to a wildlife sanctuary with help from the B.C. He is also facing charges of dangerous operation of a vehicle, break and enter as well as possession of stolen property in relation to the initial theft investigation.
