San Diego State’s Jack Browning earned a scholarship several weeks ago for his punting and place-kicking this season. Browning added another honor for his performance on Tuesday — 2022 Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Year. The Aztecs tied for second with San Jose State, two games behind first-place Fresno State. Fresno State and San Jose State each had four. Boise State head coach Andy Avalos was voted MW Coach of the Year.
