KUALA LUMPUR: Investigations on the cracks which appeared on an apartment block of the Taman Keramat Permai Flats are still ongoing, with a full report expected to be ready by the middle of the week, according to Gombak MP Datuk Seri Azmin Ali. He said tests to ascertain the cause of the cracks were still being conducted. “If the building structure is found to be safe, the residents can move back to their homes before Ramadan,” he said after visiting the site near Ampang Jaya yesterday. Even if the building structure is considered safe, he said, rehabilitation works to the building should take place with the costs borne by the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS).
