Azmin: Hidden hands behind attempt to silence me [NSTTV]

KUALA LUMPUR: PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali shot back at his rivals in the party, claiming that there was an attempt to “silence” him following an alleged rescinding of the invitation to open the PKR Youth wing congress next month. Training his guns on several detractors, including PKR Youth chief Akmal Nasir, Azmin said he had received an invitation to open the congress and confirmed his attendance. “There is an attempt to silence me from airing issues for the top leadership (to look into) during the congress,” said Azmin at the National Institute of Public Administration, here, today. “Akmal would not have the guts to do something without any hidden hands interfering in the matter. “All political parties reserve the role of officiating the Youth and Women wings’ congress for the deputy president, while the president would open the main congress.
