Aziziya district’s mayor, Jamal Al-Tayf, was found by roadside in his district after a week of abduction by unknown group, the Municipal Council of Azizya confirms. A spokesperson for the Municipal Council said Al-Tayf is suffering from gunshots in his legs and is being treated at a clinic in Tripoli. Unknown gunmen kidnapped Al-Tayf from in front of his house on Saturday’s dawn after threat messages on his mobile phone. The reason for his abduction is still unknown.
