Azimo's mass action scheduled for Monday dominated Sunday's thanksgiving prayer meeting in Kapsabet which was attended by President William Ruto. The leaders said the Constitution does not allow picketing at prohibited areas such as State House. Majority leader Kimani Ichung'wah alleged without evidence that the Azimio protests and rallies were being bankrolled using looted funds from public coffers. The Kikuyu MP blamed retired President Uhuru Kenyatta as the person behind the current political temperatures in the country. "He does not want to peacefully retire, he wants to make the country ungovernable using Raila Odinga," Ichung'wah said.
