Azimio coalition has come out strongly to condemn international nations in meddling with Kenya's political affairs. Senators led by Oginga Oburu of Siaya accused the US of interfering with Kenya's politics. Oburu claimed he found it insensitive for US Ambassador Meg Whitman to talk about democracy during the Devolution conference on Wednesday in Eldoret. Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua added: "Your (Ambassador Whitman) comments on the 2022 election are insensitive and are eroding the little trust we are building." In April this year, the envoy while addressing American businessmen said Kenya held the the most transparent and democratic election.
