NARC-Kenya leader Martha Karua on Sunday slammed President William Ruto over his remarks after the Head of State vowed to clamp down on criminal elements hijacking recent demonstrations to perpetuate anarchy in the country. Karua who took to her X account, continued her onslaught on the government noting that the Head of State was displaying unwarranted bravado through his public pronouncements. We must stand together as a nation protect our nation and make sure that Kenya is a democracy." President Ruto had earlier on in the week accused foreign players of funding protests in Kenya to cause anarchy. The protests that have been branded #OccupyEverywhere and mounted in the last month are aimed at demanding accountability from the government.
