Ayodhya Dispute: Not a day beyond October 18 for arguments, says Supreme Court

Senior advocate CS Vaidyanathan, representing the Hindu side, sought three days to reply but court gave them two only. Working out a rough schedule, the bench noted that beginning Thursday till October 18, there were roughly 10 working days. Once the Muslim side finishes arguments, the Hindu side is expected to finish giving its reply by October 1. Once the parties’ submission is over, the court will hear all parties on the limited question of moulding the relief. This is expected to take two days, bringing the court to its deadline of October 18.
