Another CNN insider told Fox they agreed that continuing with the launch after news of the merger was misguided. The decision to close the streaming service, Licht told staff, was not due to any failure on their part. He later added: 'BLM has done to black people what Chris Wallace did to CNN+. Look at CNN+, how much money they invested in wind power by hiring Chris Wallace.'
