The leaders and activists chanted slogans saluting Sheikh Mujib and Sheikh Hasina and denouncing the interim government, calling it 'illegal.' "We condemn the illegal, unconstitutional government, the unconstitutional complaints at the illegal and unconstitutional tribunals, naming Sheikh Hasina in illegal cases, scrapping Mar 7 Day and National Mourning Day on Aug 15, removing Bangabandhu's photo from the Bangabhaban, and the mass arrests of Awami League leaders and activists alongside the cases against them. The people Bangladesh do not abide by your decisions," said Md Zahurul Islam, member of the central sub-committee of the Awami League.
