This year’s conference focused heavily on digital transformation for the enterprise. At the conference, there was one example of digital transformation I found particularly interesting. It was announced that GE Venture’s Avitas Systems is partnering with Kraken Robotic Systems. The reason this partnership struck me was that I think it could be a herald of what digital transformation looks like for many industries in the future. Undersea inspection drones gather new data dimensionsBy integrating their technology, Kraken and Avitas will build tethered autonomous drones that will take over the inspections.
