The new MCU movie sees the Avengers, including Thor, track down Thanos to his 'retirement garden' where they find out he destroyed the Infinity Stones. Thor lashes out when they find him and kills Thanos before we cut to five years on. When we see Thor again he's a changed man, his hair is much longer and, well, he's put on a bit of weight. Thor is drinking too much and eating rubbish, but the main change is definitely the God of Thunder's body shape. Fans were fuming at the change, mostly because it was seen as fat shaming with Thor becoming the butt of the jokes throughout the film.
