Walt Disney and IMAXAvengers: Endgame has broken the record for a ten-day gross in China, earning $548.73 million in that market alone. And when counting the film’s second Friday in China, Avengers: Endgame has now earned $473.7 million in North America, $1.349 billion overseas and $1.822 billion worldwide. The odds are still on Avengers: Endgame ending its run as the second-biggest movie in North America (behind The Force Awakens), the second biggest in China (behind Wolf Warrior 2’s $854 million) and the second-biggest overseas. So here’s a random question just for fun: Does Walt Disney really want Avengers: Endgame to pass Avatar globally and The Force Awakens domestically? That’s especially true of James Cameron’s epic, as its existence as the biggest movie of all time was always its most significant selling point going forward.
