Saskatchewan RCMP say autopsy results confirm seven-year-old Nia Eastman was the victim of an apparent murder-suicide. Last week, police issued an Amber Alert for the girl after her father, Adam Jay Eastman, failed to return her to her mother's custody. On Thursday, police discovered Nia's body in a home in Choiceland, Sask. The autopsy showed that Nia was a homicide victim and her father died from suicide. When Adam was charged with allegedly assaulting Crystal Eastman, Nia's mother, on Aug. 23, a number of conditions were placed on him, including:
